Linking to Films on Demand Videos

I've added instructions to Boxes for SWOSU LibGuides on how to create links to Films on Demand videos and playlists. Look under the "Linking to Books, Articles, and Videos" tab.

Finals Week

Be mindful that beginning tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 9th) that all noise levels in the library should be low including the first floor. Also, we're seeing students violating the food and drink policy recently. Be observant of students entering with such items as pizza, McDonald's sacks, etc. especially during the evening shifts.

If you need to refresh yourself on the food and drink policy, please look it over again. http://www.swosu.edu/library/admin/policies/fooddrink.asp

1. Open the paper feed tray on the front of the color printer. This is Tray 2. Place your legal size paper in the tray.
2. In your program, click File > Print. In the Print dialog box, click the Properties button to the right of the printer selection drop-down field.
3. When the "HP Color Laser Printer Document Properties" window opens, click the Paper/Quality tab.

5. Click Print.
6. When you've finished printing on legal size paper, change the "Paper Size" setting back to Letter and the "Paper Source" setting back to Automatically Select.

Note that no settings on the printer itself should be changed.

EBSCOhost Mobile now available

I've added links to EBSCOhost Mobile to our web site. EBSCOhost Mobile links are
  • on the right side of any of the database pages,
  • on the Databases A-Z list, and
  • an option under the Academic Search Complete description.
EBSCOhost Mobile is designed to work with any small-screen device with a JavaScript-capable browser, including iPhones, iPods with WiFi, BlackBerrys, and Palm smartphones. EBSCOhost Mobile may also be useful for any off-campus patrons using EBSCOhost over slow Internet connections (dial-up, for example).
