After changing several of the settings on the fax machine, it is now working!!
FYI, if the settings are changed back to the default, it will no longer work.

Public Fax Out of Order
The public fax machine is not compatible with the new phone system and in order to fix the issue, it would have to be sent off. However, it is no longer under warranty and there is no maintenance contract on it; replacing the fax machine is also an option. Until a solution is found, please refer patrons to any of the other fax sites listed in the flip book at the Reference Desk.
